Ebay Excuses (1 Viewer)

Thought this was origional.
Won a diorama piece on ebay and when I did not receive it or messages were not returned after 2 weeks I threatened to notify ebay/paypal of a "not received item."
That got his attention and I received a return message. "Finally found your item, my wife left it in the rental car that she had returned, but I got it back, will ship it immediately"
I guess that excuse is better than "an alien stole it" but ranks right up there!

That was good for a chuckle, yes I always keep my for sale items in the rental car

Boy, it's a good thing they did not rent that car to someone who sells on Ebay from time to time, because afterall, collecting is a process.

The guy would not have gotten it back, but he would have been welcome to bid on it.................
