Does anyone know if eBay has a policy on where a seller lists an item’s location?

I recently found a diecast tank that I wanted to buy on their site. It lists the location as the same city as our home in California.

However the estimated delivery date to our zip code shows as 21-24 days from the date of purchase?

There is no disclaimer regarding delayed delivery or the seller being away etc.

Usually the location of an item is where a seller is located. I’d ask if the seller is located in your town and perhaps offer to pick it up. On my auctions I offer local pickup.
