Hi all,
I've just set up a new Ebay account and will begin to run auctions now and then on select terrain/scenery items.
You can find our first auction by clicking HERE. It's the Reno Hill I sculpted for TSSD, completely hand-painted. It features 3 tones on every single stone and tallgrass patch...quite an involved job, I can assure you.
During the sculpting process, I was often visualizing what the finished product would look like with a proper paint job. The expediencies of a playset don't always allow for that luxury, so I'm excited that the piece will now be available fully decked-out. It makes a big difference and brings it up to "metal" standards.
Since the piece depicts only earth, stone, and grass, it's got a lot of applications: Little Bighorn, Sudan (War along the Nile), Zululand, dunes along the Normandy beaches, even ACW siegeworks (see here the famous pic of the Siege of Vicksburg).
I've got exactly 15 of these, and will be making them available as they are completed. This first auction starts at no minimum ($.099!). Happy bidding!
