There is a seller out there who is selling a collection and has no idea what they are doing. it ranges from Russian elephants to large playsets. Prices are all over the map. Long story short - I bid and won an item. I go to pay for it and am told "I cancelled the transaction". I know something is wrong so I call ebay. They inform me that the seller requested to cancel because I requested it that I bought in error. Huh? As I am on the phone with ebay detailing out that I didn't request this, the item reappears on ebay at 3 times the price. Obviously, dishonest seller (and the item is and has been sitting there unsold for months). Ebay recommends I contact the seller and if no response, leave negative feedback as they report it on his account. So i do, well, you guessed it, immediate reply from the seller basically rambling and in the last sentence insulted me with namecalling. I kid you not, I am not sure how the hell i find these idiots. Anyhow, pm me if you need the ebay seller. Sometimes a deal is just not worth it and I believe I was saved a headache in this case. I can only imagine their shipping and packing skills if their selling skills are this good! :)

hey Tom...

when did you call Ebay?

it appears this is no longer an option...
I can no longer find the "call option" in their help support section......
instead...
they do offer email support...

I have an issue...
but it's way too lengthy to type via email...
an extremely long explanation requesting a refund on a returned parcel to Hong Kong...

if you have a link to call...
or can provide me with a phone number...
it would be appreciated...

thanks in advance...

Mike it is temporary, here is a note on their help section:

I would do your best to email them, apparently, that is how they are handling for the time being. I find it nuts they don't have a work at home option for call folks. It will be interesting to see how long that lasts.

Tom...

appreciate our fast reply...and yea...I assumed it was temporary...
good point about a "work home" program for Ebay...
that seems like a no brainer now that you have brought that option to my attention...
instead of cramming 500 employees into tiny cubicles...
right next to each other...
the work home option is the way to go for a "call center" based business...

I will send them an abbreviated version of my grievance...
just to get it on record...
Ebay is kind of like Judge Judy...
you get bonus points for pictures and text...^&grin

thank you!

May I ask where that seller is located? PM is fine. Kind of sounds like someone I know but have lost trails with. Might need to be checked in on, due to health age, and dubious family members.

would save me a long drive -
cheers
