I brought this up a week or so ago about ebay charging a seperate fee on your shipping charges. My question is I have sold numerous items in the past few weeks all with shipping fees around $3.95 to $8, but I have only been charged (seperate shipping fees) for some items and others I have not been charged.
Has anyone else had this happen? I don,t know if it is some computer foul up or what.

It looks like if the item was listed (or relisted) under the old system where a listing fee was charged, then there is no ebay tax on shipping. If no listing fee was charged, then there is a tax on shipping.

There were no listing fees for the last 3 groupings I listed, each grouping consisted of about 12 seperate auctions and they all sold however I was charged the seperate shipping fee on only about a fourth of them. Further they are all about the same type of items, 1-72 figure sets.

In that case, it sounds like the ebay program is working at the target efficiency :rolleyes2:{sm4}

Well yesterday I got charged for all the shipping fee auctions that I previously had not been charged. Don,t know how their billing system works but I would have been foolish to think they would not pass up an oppertunity to make money.

did the shipping charges work out to 9% as they stated or are there any hidden fees?
