Hi Steve!
I thought that your diorama would certainly look better, if you have used a real sand on the ground or a special diorama accessories that represent real sand, so you could hide the bases of the figures, the colour of which differs from the ground so much.

Congratulations on the great diorama.....I also plan to come up with some Palestine & Transjordan dios of my own..just that they will be with Stadden and Scale Link soldiers....the whole project is no the works ...when I have pics will share..:salute:::salute:: the one thing that I am having problems with is were to source Arabs......
Cheers

Really like this layout Steve. This desert scene would be good for my upcoming Light Car Patrol ideas. The figure positioning you have chosen is excellent. Robin.

Thanks for the kind words, encouragement and likes everyone.
Robin you might be interested in this photo my Grandfather who was a farrier, took whilst in the 9th Lancers back in the 1920's when he was serving in these countries. Please excuse the quality, but it's 90 plus years old !

Thanks Steve, original photos are often inspirational as is this one. Must resist getting those planes though and be satisfied with the vehicles only^&grin, excellent shot all the same, which some on this forum could duplicate no doubt. Robin.
