In November 2009 Richard Walker asked me to do 19th C picture research for Britain's forthcoming War Along the Nile series. Among the sources was this image of a gunboat manned by Egyptians that served as a model for the forthcoming gunboat and its Egyptian crew.

Yes, I do believe this is only going to be for the nile gun boat. I think for those of us ordering the gun boat, this set should only be available with the boat. It adds to the collectability of the piece.

Very good image..is also on page 83 of the book "Go Strong into the Desert" !I hope this range will get many more figures ,Royal Marines ,Egyptian Army..and the great personalities, like Colonel Burnaby, Stewart, Gordon...etc.
