Hi,

I have been approached by a guy wanting to sell his collection of Ernst Hienrichsen flats. They are at an auction house in Colorado but not getting much interest, so he asked if I could tell my 'friends' and fellow collectors about them, in case anyone would love to have a collection af about 1400 figures!

To view them on the auction house website goto: http://antiquecenteronbroadway.com/dynapage/IP778.htm

His email stated:"Hi my name is Dave Perry. I,m trying to find the best market to sell my Ernst Hienrichsen collection. My grandfather brought this collection back from Nuremburg at the end of WW2. They have been in my position since 1982. I have almost 1800, all in original boxes. I love them dearly but feel a real collector or a museum should have them. Any info would be greatly appreciated." See what you think?

Great collection! These were great figures but the collector market for flats is very limited.

Best bet is to sell them directed at German eBay.

They typically sell for $9 to $15 per box set if somebody is interested. Per figure, there wouldn't be any interest - only in large groups/lots.

Christmas and holiday themed sets will bring a better price.
