Ex Moderator (2 Viewers)

Brad,
Only just realised you have stepped down. Having had a few "deletions" in my time I must say it is with some regret that I see you have ceased to be a Moderator. As the often used phrase goes "in my humble opinion" you did an excellent job. I think one word sums it up and that is "respect". You have mine.
All the best and I look forward to your continuing contribution to the forum.
Regards
Brett

Al and Brett,

Thanks for your support.

I hope to be back eventually. There are just a lot of things going on right now.

Brad,
We've had our differences but I respect your service and know you did what you thought was right and for that I thank you. truly it is a no win situation.

Brad,
Sorry to see you go as a moderator, as you have been instumental in keeping the forum an enjoyable place to visit. I can understand your wish to step down after years of mainly thankless moderation, but your efforts are appreciated. Take a well earned break!
Cheers
Simon

some of you will soon realize, if not already, that i'm no longer a moderator. No, i didn't get fired :) but it's a mutual parting of the ways. It's a position that can and does take up a lot of time and i just don't want to continue to make the time commitment, at least not for the immediate future. It was also similar to being a cop and, no offense to anyone in law enforcement, but it wasn't a role that i was enjoying much anymore.

Best of luck to shannon, pete, dave and scott as they continue on without me.

I will still be a member. You'll still have me there :)

regards to all,

thanks for all the time you had as a moderator from fleurbaix

Brad, I think you were an excellent moderator, I have only been a member for a little over 2 years, but to handle some of the arguments/fights/whatevers like you have is been amazing, I would not have had the patience to EVER do your job as a moderator, also your knowledge and insight and all around general info is a great thing to have on our forum, I look forward to meeting you in Chicago in 2010 at my first Chicago show (finally gonna make it) hope to see ya on the forum as well...Sammy

Thanks for the kind words Sammy. I'll still try to have that insight and knowledge to help out around here and look forward to meeting you next year :)

Dear General,
Your command of the troops over the years has been superb. I know that you have done this job while dealing with many difficult situations. I congratulate you and if i had a medal to give you i would.( I think Shannon's reward is better than a medal).
Look forward to many days of your being in this hobby.
As for myself, it has made a big difference.
Harvey

Mark,

I see we have something in common :) I'm sure Shannon, Dave and Scott will also get a kick out of that.

Brad,
Thank you for all the time and thought you've put into the rest of us having a good time. I'm sure I can't imagine all the effort you've put into doing the job of moderator. And now ... I hope you just enjoy yourself.

Brad! Thank You very much for Your help over the years. Being a Moderator is a real balancing act. Regards!

Bill,

It's been my pleasure and hope everything is well with you and your wife.

Regards,
