Guys

A few moments ago my wife brought me my morning coffee while I was on the computer talking with you. She was asking about what was going on ??

My new King & Country diorama is a topic - I said. She then went - "how do these other guys wives not notice when their empires expand ?"

I said - wives never pay attention to these things - you guys never can tell when the empire expands.

She said - hahahaha - WE ALWAYS KNOW - WE MIGHT NOT SAY ANYTHING, BUT WE ALWAYS KNOW !

Then a little kiss on the cheek and off to get ready for work. LOL.

Very scary ;)

Was she whistling the Star wars empire strikes back theme tune, as she walked away!!

Alas my empire is in desperate need of expansion, (restricted to a blacked out window ledge in my office)

Would love your cabinet. But would need bigger house to put it in hehe.

LOL. If they know, then they are looking pretty closely. I think the wives appreciate it more than they say, too. But, they don't want to say so. My wife affectionately refers to toy soldiers as "junk" to playfully disguise her mild interest. "Honey, did you get any new junk?"

My wife is at work when the packages are delivered, I pay the Amex bill, and hasn't been up the museum in months, so I think I might be one of the lucky few whose wife really doesn't keep track . . .;):p

We have collections. You have a museum. You definitely qualify as "a lucky one". :)

You are also one of those lucky people who don't have to worry about "rural" mail carriers, must be nice to receive deliveries on a reliable "wife not home" schedule:D. Our delivery people, be they UPS or USPS, can't even get the mail to the right address half the time:rolleyes:. Think of the mail guy from the movie FUNNY FARM:eek:!

Yes, they do always know. If mine doesn't figure it out, then my son tells her. I can buy something as simple as a CD, and my wife knows! When I order mass quantities of soldiers or large vehicles I always hope I get the package before she sees it. She just says "you are going to do whatever you want" when I want to get something - now does that sound positive to you?

I really can't complain - we have the green light for a very large Curio Cabinet - if there was a problem about the EXPANDING EMPIRE - that curio would have not seen the light of day !

(No offense KV ;) )

My wife picks up the mail. The guy at the counter laughs when she walks around from the mail boxs has he passes her the package and says"here are more TOY SOLDIERS".She doesn`t even have to pass the slip for the package. They KNOW THEY ALL KNOW.Don`t fool your self.
Cheers
Dave
