Can you tell which is which? Which company represents their advertised scale? This is a new K/C mold that was made smaller than 1/30. Not some old mold shrinking from overuse.....I am looking for a list from members that collect both mfg. ,of same models from both companies that are same size. As with this tank, I am going to try to "K/C" the F.O.V. Stuart with paint and stowage. Might be an opportunity for the pro painters on this forum to fix F.O.V. and other's tanks to match up with K/C offerings. Why pay outrageous retirement prices for a particular vehicle that could be made to fit into our collection...Michael

I am new to this forum, although I have collected for a few years. I recently purchased the FOV Stuart tank for $20.00, and customized it myself, painting dirt and mud on it's frame, and adding cables, supply boxes, and extra supplies. I must tell you that because the FOV tanks have soft rolling tracks, they actually contour to the terrain of the diorama better then the solid tracks of K&C. I own several tank displays, including K&C, FOV, Figarti, and Honour Bound, and I have to say, if you put a little effort in detailing those FOV tanks, they stand up very well to the more expensive tanks from other companies. I think K&C, and Honour Bound are tops in the field, and have great resale value after retirement as seen on e-bay, but they are not cheap, and if you are on a budget, FOV is the way to go.

I agree. I have several FOV vehicles and IMO the larger ones don't look too out of place when displayed with K&C, especially if you add additional equipment and camouflage foilage.
