Excellent scene Duke! I'll be doing a large scale dio soon with my Britains troops, Kronprinz tank crew, FL, JJD and Figarti armour but seeing how good that HB Panther looks in the scene, I reckon i'll have to do a dio with both my HB Panthers soon!

Hello Tom. Good to hear you'll be doing a large scale dio soon. Looking forward to seeing that one. The old HB Panthers are really great models. I have this one along with the winter one. Will be cool to see both of yours in the same dio mate.

Britains did very well with the German Fallschirmjäger. A lot of bang for the buck.

Gee HB made some good stuff. Lucky collectors who were around at the time to pick these up. Who would have guessed they were to become so rare. Robin.

Great photo. The WB FJ are very realistic with the HB Panther Ausf. A. Lions of Carendon, France 1944!

Did n't realise the HB Panthers went so nicely with the Britains Fallschirmjaegers. Was thinking of selling my HB Panther - after seeing this I think I'll hang on to it!

You strike again Duke. I give it Quad Bs. BIG BEAUTIFUL BAD BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe

The HB Panthers are Ausf. A and correct for Normandy. The Ausf G which Figarti and FL made were not produced until September of 1944. The HB Panthers are a true 1/30 scale and are the perfect size for WB, FL and Kronprinz figures.

Better hang onto it. They are very much desired I think and hard to come by.

Panther was a huge tank. I have some pictures of me up next to a Jagdpanther (same chasis as a Panther) and I'm 6'0" tall. It made me look tiny.

Duke,

Interesting to see that the camo pattern on the Jagdpanther gun barrel is similar to what is going on the FL new panther.

The Panther was originally planned to be a Medium tank but Hilter interfered in the specifications and included increased armour and weight ended at the original weight of the Tiger tank original specifications so much for a Medium

Very true on the Panther size Duke, it's a monster as you can see from me standing next to one in the Munster Tank Museum in Germany! I'm a shorty by the way, only 5 foot 8"!

Which probably explains the three helmet sized holes in the side of it- large silhouette's have never been a tank (or tankers! :)) friend!
