The Vicar of Dibley is sheer brilliance............Father Ted.....not so much

The 1st episodes of Ted went into slapstick with people jumping through windows while Dibley has regular folks being funny doing regular things. It wasn't mean humor about the locals as in Ted.

They can't realy be compared though, both brilliant but completly different.
