I've not yet collected this line, but the figure sculpts and vehicles really look nice-and it represents a fascinating era. Can anyone share some pictures/comments ?

Well, yeah, that's a wee-bit incredible isn't ? {sm4}

Thanks much for sharing that.

I have a few of the figures. They’ve very well made; the sculpting and the painting are very good.

They are really nice figures. I think the sculpts/poses are some of K & C's best. The weapons are very crisply sculpted and are scaled proportionately to the figures. The painting is good. It's the new K&C painting style so no more outlining, more dry brush and less shade/highlight contrast. I hope this helps.

As you can tell, I love them.
The sculpting and paint quality is similar to the vietnam figures, if you e seen them.

Thanks Zach, your dio and hobby room are just awe inspiring !

What scale are the KC IDF figures? Are the 1/28 or 1/30?
Thanks
Benjamin

Mike mate,

This is a great K&C range. Well worth collecting. We haven't seem any new releases in this range for over 12 months. Most likely due to Covid/China problems.

I collect this range because the "Valley of Tears" was an epic tank on tank battle lasting over 4 days.

My collection includes: 2 x Super Shermans, 2 x 106mm RCL Jeeps, 3 x M3 Halftracks, 3 x Centurions and 6 x Syrian T-55 Tanks plus many Israeli and Arab figures.

Cheers Howard

IDF figure between FL & War Park. If FL & WP are 1/30 then K&C would be around 1/28

Totally agree Andy's IDL figures and AFV are well done and well worth having in any TS collection

Thanks so much for the comparative photograph.
Best wishes,
Benjamin

In my opinion as a sculpting and colouring one of the best if not the best King&Country. It set a standard below which i think the company will not go down. The faces of the figures i own (6 of the first releases) are all different. They have all character! One little thing is only that the IDF paras had brown boots, not black...

Not really a criticism but more of a question: does Andy intend to make any more figures. It’s been a while since any were made but perhaps we can attribute that to the pandemic. Meanwhile, FL is jumping into the fray, albeit the Yom Kippur War.

I've seen most of it from 18 months ago with my own eyes and you have to realize that the guys are big.
And very, very cool.
But they are their own range and the scale is appropriate by K&C/cool-modern-stuff standards.
Wish I could collect it all! I suggest that you not be shy, K&C ranges are among the best.

The IDF line has been one of my favorites since its inception.

K&C did an excellent job on the small arms in the series, no small feat when you consider the intricacies of modern rifles.

Shalom Guys,,
Thanks again for your supportive comments…Looking forward to returning to the Middle East later this year!
All the best and happy collecting!
Andy.
