FIELDS OF WAR SERIES

Trophy produced a series called “Fields of War”, each boxed set would consist of a wounded British soldier of an appropriate Regiment together with a wounded opponent. The four other items included in each set range from ammo boxes to discarded weapons

Here is the first set that started the series

Many thanks Jeff.

The Fuzzy Wuzzy is wounded, he also appears in a set with a Yorks and Lancs Private.

The only set I don't have is the RWF Private from the Boxer Rebellion series, I don't have any Boxer sets so I'm not urgently looking for him........... yet:wink2:

Day job, what's a day job ^&grin

Hi Al

They started off with an FW prefix followed by the number, then the later sets had a DFW prefix

The early sets were numbered
FW1-ZULU WAR
FW2-SUDAN WAR
FW3-AFGHAN WAR
FW4-EGYPTIAN WAR
FW5-BOXER REBELLION

I have several different Sudan and Egyptian War sets

Here is my version of your set, no rock but more debris;)
