Wayne, be completely honest now. Were you able to put the 88 back into the origional box with out causing any damage? I had two Figarti 88's that I sold and as hard as I tried I could not repackage them without causing some damage. The one i fianlly gave up on and sold it "as is"

Haven't tried yet because if it doesn't sell it will be on display.

I have re boxed my winter 88 twice with no problem so don't see why this will be any different.

I broke the shield off on the Winter one pushing it into the foam cutout, but repacked RMG-003 OK. The trick is to pull out the layers of foam down to the bottom one. Place the 88 on the bottom piece of foam then carefully add back the foam one layer at a time.

Yes, Figarti pieces can be a bit fragile but that's because they were made to a high level of quality.

I have sold off a few of mine and the later Figarti packaging was much better than before. The trick is not to try to fit into its original packaging but wrap it carefully, protecting exposed points. I recently sold the Monty Grant and I knew it would have been impossible to ship it safely in its original packaging. I wrapped it in tons of bubble wrap and it got there safely. Of course, I had to use a bigger shipping box to fit both the tank and the Figarti box but the comfort of knowing that it would arrive safely was worth the extra cost.

Well its back in the dio case mate and i must admit when i was putting it back (Damage free) i was kinda glad it didn't go,looks good next to its PM.
