This is my tribute to the 761st Black Panther battalion.

It's nice to see somebody do this as the other major toy soldier manufacturers seem to have forgotten that there are African Americans.

I wish someone would do the African/American/French service troops from WWI- or some of Napoleon's coloured troops- there are some great ones out there. Also to note- in some of Britains' ceremonials, there are black troops, and they did make some RI LI for AWI. If only some one made more of those!

I'm actually a little surprised, when you think, countless sherman's and stuart's have been released by several companies in some shape or form, and not one 761st tank with crew. They played an important role just like the Tuskegee airmen. I believe a movie about the 761st is in the works, maybe that will be the catalyst to do a tank.

I would like to see some sets of the 369th Harlem Hellfighters from WWI seen below. Their band led by James Reese Europe helped introduce jazz to the French,

It's also a neat combo of French and American, with some interesting symbols on flags, etc....

An important figure in the historical development of jazz.

For glossy fans, I suggested to Ana a while back that a set of James Reese and the 369th band would be a great addition to Beau Geste's WWI line of military bands.:)

I think that would be an excellent idea. Regardless of WW I, I would love someone to take a crack at doing some early jazz figures. Trouble is, I don't think they would sell all that well.

I would like to see this done. I wanted an aircraft in the Tuskegee colours. I think it was said it was too plain to do a version of sadly
