I was just over at the Figarti website to see if they have pictures of the new Priest (not yet). Anyway, I noticed that on each of their items, there's an entry that says "Edition" and, of course, it indicates they are all "First."

Has this always been there or is this something new and if new, does this signify, there will be Seconds?

I suppose only Rick, Matt or Clive can answer that question.

I can answer in part, in so much as their earlier sets are marked by an edition number. That said, all my sets are marked first edition. If that's the case with all, I'm not sure of the puropose.

They did at least one 1st and 2nd edition. The Chi-Ha tank. The tracks were different on the 2nd edition.

There has been second editions. At one point all the modern sets were given a paint upgrade and marked as second editions. They also on some sets actually printed the month and year when the item was made. Does this mean there will be second editions of popular items. I think unlikely. Early on they were doing low numbers like 36 pieces on some sets. If needed they would make more.
