Figarti has repainted SAS jeep figures (3 Viewers)

I know, that 69Jbarrett guy must be building a diorama of the entire North African campaign.

I sure hope Andy does revisit this subject as he mentioned he might, but asking Andy to do something doesn't always generate quick results. It only took me about 8 years to coax him to revisit the wood warbirds.

I appears that I mis-read the e-mail from Figarti this morning. I expect the new SAS jeep to be here in about a week!

They have shipped via sea from Shanghai to the US, so it'll be a month or so before we see them here.

We still don't have the 'official' item number for this, but we'll be getting it on our web site as FSAS. Look for it shortly.

Peter,

My Bad if I mis-informed you in my dealer update. The first shipment was by AIR, so it should arrive in 2-3 days.

...By the way, those who want SAS jeeps without seated figures just have to be a little patient.;)

Hsieh hsieh, Steven. Figarti is clearly on target.
Are you still looking for that Tamiya LRDG Chevy 30 Truck? I might have an extra one (unassembled in original box).

Ok I am having a hard time not ordering one of these great jeeps. They looked great before from the picutres on the West Coaster but now they look even better. Can anyone tell me who saw them at the West Coaster will this work with my K&C troops?

Thanks,
Old Guard

Most of the K&C figures will look big when placed next to the Figarti Jeep. Carlos (desk11desk12) posted photos comparing the K&C Tiger with the Figarti Tiger, which included putting some of the K&C Tiger tank crew on the Figarti tank -- they looked too big.:)

I,ve just taken the plunge and pre ordered the SAS jeep.
It will be my first Figarti piece so i,m realy looking forward to
it.

I was just informed that this is officially item #B3001 - Who Dares Wins (Willys-Overland Mb Jeep).

Thanks Steve for the answer to my questions. I will have to think this one over. Still I think Figarti does a great job.

received my figarti sas jeep this morning and was pleasantly surprised. the painting of the figures, especially the faces is second to none. the jeep itself in unbelievable. i was concerned about the size, as i collect k&c, but when placed a few inches away from other vechicles in my k&c afrika corp diarama, you really cant discern the size. well done figarti, you have added another collector for your products......

The jeep looks nice, but I will have to see it in person before I decide to get one.

You may not be able to do that as only 100 are being made.

Treefrog lists the SAS jeep as "Retired" so they may have sold all the jeeps they ordered.:)

Considering only 100 were made, that's not surprising. George is holding mine. I believe he may have had a couple of extra so if you want one, don't delay.

My SAS Jeep came today, and was waiting for me when I got home as I hoped. The paint job on the figures is exceptional, right about on par with what K&C does. The poses of the figures, while showing tons more action, are still not quite natural. The jeep is exceptional, what you would expect from Figarti in a vehicle at this point. I give the piece an A. Excellent work Rick!

Nope - we still have a few. Retired means that they are no longer being produced. If it's on the web site, it should be in stock.

They are moving out fast. We have a couple more on the way - so if you want them I don't know how long you have.

Louis:

Will you be able to send a picture of your SAS Jeep with KC Jeeps?

Thanks
