Looks like a Tamiya kit that I built in 1971 (all the way down to the turret basket and the hinges on the hatches). Perhaps FIGARTI licensed it^&confuse

Wonder if it's the Tiger Figarti did around 2007 where you could see the insides.
 
This Tiger looks like the one with the recoiling gun barrel. Was that in 2007? If so, time sure flies.

I bought it from one collector who bought it in 2007.And it has no tank riders.Its painting is customed personally.Its effect and weathering is very different from FM ETG068.But it is FM
 
The unit number is the one from ETG 068, unless the number was customized. However, I don't believe those were made in 2007 and I think those early Tigers were in 1/32nd scale.
 
Sounds like you had a special limited version as only 10 were made (according to the photo of the box you posted).
 
It's the same model as the Figarti Early Production Wittman Tiger and Desert Tiger. Just looks to have a little more TLC in the paint and weathering department.
