Hi all -

It's been a busy morning of making Figarti web pages! We are finally caught up and have all of Figarti's WWII Pacific and Iraq War sets on the web site. Right now stock is very limited on them, so don't delay. The Flying Tiger is amazing (and we only have one in stock).

Figarti also has several new sets on the way! We're the most excited about the new 'Honey' tank. Figarti is only making 299 of them, and we at Treefrog Treasures will get the first 50 (only the first 50 will be individually numbered). If there's a specific number you want let us know ASAP and we'll reserve it for you.

Figarti also is coming out with some great Iraq War figures, including a UK team and a US team helping civilians.

The WWII figures are at http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/FGww2.shtml

The Iraq War figures are at http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/FGIraq.shtml

I don't know if this got lost in the shuffle but the Honey looks really nice. I don't know if John Gambale has ordered one but if he hasn't I hope he see this thread.

Shannon & Pete,

I'll take one of those Honeys, with the lowest available number please. Either call or e-mail me, and perhaps Shannon can bring it to the Symposium for me rather than shipping it (I saw all the threads about the other special Stuart being damaged in shipment).

Regards,

Louis

Since I couldn't get Number 1, I decided to go for the last one, 50. Has a nice ring to it.

Sorry Brad I beat you to it.

No offense but I said if I couldn't get number one (which I knew I hadn't), "I decided to go for the last one, 50."

The new trilogy, Bart hitting a baseball to kill the cyclops. Michael

That must be it because I was also able to get #2 of the very limited 30 Treefrog exclusive tanks.

I am not familiar with Figarti but I do collect the King and Country WWII desert war sets. This Honey tank looks nice but I do have a few questions that I would appreciate the answer to:

1. What scale is the tank
2. What is it made of
3. Does the turret or tracks move
4. How does it compare to K&C tanks

Thanks in advance for the answers because this will help me decide if I should purchase this tank to help the brave lads of the 8th army.

Thanks,
Old Guard

Dear Old Guard,
Answering your questions:
1. 1/32 scale or the same scale as Conte, Britains, Frontline, and Old Northwest Trading Co. The Figarti tank will look very small next to K&C figures and vehicles.
2. Figarti tanks are resin and metal.
3. Turret and gun can move, but the tracks cannot.
4. The Figarti tank has finer details since it is not a polystone cast -- the original Figarti Japanese Type I tank had over 800 individual pieces with the tracks made up of individual links. On the Figarti Stuart tank, you can see through the tracks and spokes of the boogie wheels underneath the tank to the other side. Still, many forum members think Figarti tanks do not have the character of K&C tanks i.e. the worn or distressed look, battle damage, or loose equipment hanging off every available location. However, the limited edition Figarti Treefrog tank had a very nice "rusty" worn look, so I believe the Honey will have the appropriate "dusty" look from hard use. Figarti and K&C tanks have different styles, so it is a subjective thing and dependent on the individual tastes of the collector.:)

Thanks Steve for the information. You answered everyone of the questions I had. This is exactly the information I needed to make my decision.

Thanks again,
Old Guard

Hello Rick:

Fight-on Trojans, LOL

Question: I hear you have some new armor coming (don't now what kind yet). If so, will you have them with you for display purposes at West Coaster Show in Anaheim, March 5th and will any of your dealers have them available?

Singed anxious (Carlos)

Hi Rick:

The birdie that told me about the armor releases didn't tell anything else and I didn’t press him. Heck, I’m going to be at the show in week. I’ve waited this long, I might as well wait another week.

LOL,
