Story has it (I could be wrong) there were six of these 5" inch costal guns and three 3" AA guns defending WI in face of a Japanese landing. I think a couple of destroyers were sank and much havoc laid upon the Japanese before getting necessary reinforcement to finally take the island.

Check out the video link from an old propaganda movie from the 1940's (Wake Island). You might see some poses you recognize and yep, that 5" gun in action too!

Gun sank 1 DD, a Wildcat the other.

iirc, those guns were the ones taken off the Utah, which is still in Pearl like the Arizona. Need to double check on those being Utah's guns

Love the shore gun, but it is a bit too expensive for my budget. Can't justify the cost.

We held the shipment up a little so some could be re-routed to the Chicago Show. We will have the shipment arriving next Tuesday, orders will be sent out then and I will have plenty at the show as well.
