I just received my Figarti Panzer IV and must say that it is very well done. The detailing is incredible, done to the "Figarti way" high standards. The removeable skirting is an excellent option.

To Rick and the Figarti Team thanks for another great set. Keep rolling with the 1/30 scale WWII armor.

Sounds fantastic,i pick mine up at the London show in two weeks, can't wait. Thanks for posting

I Just Met Rick Yesterday And I Ordered The Mark Iv And The Set Of Four Germans Today. I Got A Close Look At It Today And It Looks Fantastic.

How does it look next to k&c. HAve any pics?

Cheers Tommy416:

Check out the West Coaster Show threads & new Figarti items as desk11desk12 posted a lot of great shots of the tank. I saw it in person-it is 1:30 scale & it is simply a stunning piece as are the figures. Order & enjoy.

Yesterday at the Symposium, Rick presented Larry and Hans with the new Panzer IV, and Mark and I with the new Long Tom set. Both are great pieces, but I was so impressed with the Panzer IV, with its hinged hatches, removable side skirts and excellent detail, that I immediately ordered one for myself. Rick gave a great talk, and I think we can expect a whole series of excellent German winter vehicles to compliment the Panzer IV.

Rick gave a great talk yesterday and was very impressive. I saw the special figure from the Westcoaster show and was very, very impressed. Figarti has made leaps and bounds, even from Chicago, and am hoping to buy one of their LRDGs next week (if it's out).

I can only imagine what they will have in store for Chicago :)

Just got my MKIV yesterday.Stunning Tank.Real quality and i love the removable skirts, even the commander looks good. Thanks to all at Figarti and thanks Clive.

Hi guys,

anybody kind enough to post pics of the panzer IV with KC figures?

i wants to see if they're compatible, for my Bulge series.

many thanks in advance!

sincerely,

nasir kasmani.

Their compatible, and frankly, the quality of this vehicle literally blows the Honour Bound Tiger out of the water.

I echo Louis here. The Tank is superb and goes well with my K&C Bulge figures.(i confess though i've not seen a HB Tiger in the flesh yet.)

Rob

Hi guys,

I'll receive my HB Wittmann Tiger tomorrow, and i do hope its worth the dosh, hype and wait.

If this figarti panzer iv is as good as Louis and Rob mentioned, then i will seriously consider it as i cant keep blowing US $ 350 for every tank!

as i said in other pages, the tanks are to complement my KC figures, so if figarti becomes a challenger in the detail armor, to rival HB, KC or CS, then i welcome it very much.

But a picture says a thousand words, and i do hope someone is gracious enough to post the figarti panzer IV with KC figures.

For the HB with KC compatibilty example, Frank was gracious enough to post me these pics a few days ago (pls see pics)

Thank you all,

Sincerely,

Nasir kasmani.

I'm sorry Nasir,i'd like to post a picture for you however i'm a complete technophobe, you could beat me to death with the instruction manual and i still wouldn't get it into my head!:rolleyes:

The HB Tigers look superb but now that someone has mentioned Figarti I was wondering if anyone has both a HB Tiger and a Figarti Tiger. Obviously different scales, but the Figarti Tiger is an amazing model.

Hi Rob,

Haha Rob, that makes it two of us..:D

Maybe you could just give me some description?

For eg, can they fit in the cupola or driver's hatch easily?

is the mg34 attached to the figarti tank commander?

or does the KC figure looks to bulky/chubby when compared to figarti figures?

Hi mate,

I just put the commander of K&C's MK1 Grey Tank into the MKIV and it goes very well indeed.I think the shorter body K&C Tank crew will go well, not so good for the longer crew as the turret is shallow. The MG is attached to the crewman.I don't personally mix my K&C crew with other companies crew, although the others are starting to catch up i prefer not to mix.I'm sure others will differ with me though, and your pictures look very good indeed.

Hope this is of help.

Rob

Figarti has always made the best vehicles, and made them at a very affordable price. Honour Bound's polystone Tigers certainly look nice, but Figarti's Tigers actually come apart to reveal complete interior detail, have hinged hatches and engine covers which open, are made out of some 900+ separate pieces of metal and resin, and with a complete crew still retailed for $50 less than the bare Honour Bound version without crew.

I am a huge King & Country collector, but I recognize quality when I see it. Honour Bound's Tigers are certainly better quality than K&C's vehicles, but the ordinary $125-$145 Figarti vehicles are at least as good if not better than Honour Bound's special $350 Tigers, and the Figarti special $300 Tiger is worlds better than Honour Bound's offering. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't grab the Figarti stuff, which is better and far more affordable.

Thanks for your opinion Louis, Iv'e got to disagree with you on this one 1000%. The Figarti tanks are superb, no doubt, but to say they "blow the HB Tiger out of the water" is way out in left field.

They each are superb on their own merits, lets just say the Figarti tanks, specifically the Mark IV as I saw it in person recently thanks to Matt, are currently the best metal tanks on the market and The HB Tiger I is currently the best polystone tank on the market and leave it at that, ok? I say currently as the great thing about this hobby is once you think you've seen it all, someone comes along and raises the bar once again.

Nice of you to order the Mark IV, I'm sure your Figarti dealer of choice is happy with your decision.................

George,

You know I respect your opinion, but on this one we are going to have to agree to disagree. I have no qualms with your assessment that the Figarti is the best metal tank and the Honour Bound is the best polystone tank to date, but that's as far as I can go. A metal vehicle with accurate interior detail, moving parts like opening hatches and removable side skirts is simply superior to anything solid cast in polystone, no matter good the sculpting is. You can trick out a camaro until doomsday, but it will never turn into a Ferrarri.
