Sorry Clive, just kidding, wasn't trying to rub it in. These were the sets that Louis came across in Joe Saine's room that Hans and I split.

Hey, even a squirrel will find an acorn once in a while :D

The only other thing I'll say it that the Landing Craft is the one shock and awe item that I'm seriously considering. :)

The US LCT is very difficult to resist and can already be filled with various Shermans etc..........................but if it were a British LCT (I note how the link posted shows a couple at least went British), that would be almost impossible to resist.:eek:

I have already committed myself to doing a version of the Figarti shock and awe diorama but scaled down to using a picture of the LCT as background instead of the real thing. :D:D I have no where to put the actual LCT.

I admire the photo treatment however:cool:
 
I actually don't have the room at the moment but it's such a magnificent piece, it's almost hard to pass up. The brilliance of it is that it's not a stand alone piece like the E boat or the rail gun but one that allows you to incorporate your collection, whether it be K & C or Figarti, into it.

Kevin, I hope you get one or Clive lends you one to see what you can create photographically.

Working on it...................however................currency seems to be in camels and I don't have any to barter with:rolleyes::mad::(:eek:
 
I better not say anything or else I'll get myself in trouble again and when someone is 6 foot 5 inches or so, it's best to stay on his good side;)

Anyway, before I get accused of completly jacking the thread, I've managed to sell a kidney and pre-ordered a lot of the new stuff from Clive.

And I'll gladly take an M1A1 Abrams if Rick wants to run a second one off at the same time as he's doing Louis's.

OK then, given that we are both law abiding decent tax paying citizens - for those outside the UK read STONY BROKE - how can we afford an LCT (British)?
