Shipped a Jap barge down to LA.(no box but bubble wrapped for all it was worth) for my friend to run on E-Bay. Arrived in MANY pieces apparently being the victim of a B-25 strafing run.

He will glue it back together and sell it as a reclamation project. I have one still boxed in great shape..same fate awaits? Figarti items are rare
probably due to short life span. Boxed Jarhead & Jap figures arrived here with FIXABLE damage. Nice pieces but caveat emptor.

I assume you still put the bubble wrapped item in a cardboard box. Otherwise it's going to get wrecked in transit every time, the bubbles do nothing. A protective outer box is mandatory when shipping items like that.

The problem with the Figarti landing craft is that the folding loading ramp at the front is flexible but there is NO support for it in the box. hence it flaps around on shipping and disintegrates. My 3 did all to some degree.

But it is solveable. you need to modify the box it ships in to create a little more space for the ramp and then put foam between the ramp sections (when its folded up) so they all are kept apart and have support. Then you should be ok to ship.

Cheers,

Stefan

Figarti repaired Jap barge has a $65.00 bid already on E-Bay! Jeez, how much is my still-in-original box gonna take in?

A LOT of K&C ,Conte Landing craft & AmTracs ready to run...let the fun begin!
