Perhaps most collectors would prefer an original piece over a "doctored up version"?

Just a thought.

I agree Njja, I'd venture a bet that the majority of collectors out there want an original piece and furthermore don't have the time or talent to "doctor up" these really expensive pieces.

As I said many do want repaints and many do them themselves purists as they ahve been called on here and elsewhere will want straight from factory but, as I said, I would bet there will be more than the 250 who will get this version who want a winter version and will go down alternative routes.

Thats there choice and, each collector to his own. It does not make their collection any less important or valuable. I have come across many hundereds of collectors who convert or want repainting so, I would not like to put my money on any bet about what collectors want
