Figarti Russian collection (1 Viewer)

Well, the prototype at the show went home with me, and having had a chance to really examine it, I can tell you it is one of the best tanks I've seen in the hobby. Frankly, every one of the manufacturers exhibiting at the show had some exceptional products. Really an exceptional time to be a collector.

The improvement of the prototype over the first T34 released was excellent. The tracks look more realistic, the tires are improved and the opening hatches are an added plus. Overall this looks like one the best pieces released to date by any manufacturer. A true winner that I hope I can add to my collection.

A very nice collection indeed!!!!.....Really annoyed with myself that i missed out on the JSU 152. that item has become for me a bit of a Holy Grail....One day i will find it!!!!!.

Can't go by the prototype unfortunately, judging by the JS2 experience. The production JS2 was very nice, but cutbacks were made from the prototype

Thanks for showing those original Figarti Russian tanks and getting me annoyed that I didnt get them. :mad: Alex

They have some new sculptors so I think you will continue to see the figures getting better and there will be some more Russian vehicles in the future

Matt, thats great news about the sculptors and russian vehicles. Do you mean new vehicles in addition to the new winter T34 and the bed spring versions? Would love to see a KV-1 and KV-2.

My recent Figarti Russian additions.

Wow! Whart a hefty price for the JS2. It ended at $786!!! I wonder if a board member won it?

Wow! I have the prototype of the JS2, as well as a production model. I wonder what the prototype would fetch (not that I would ever sell it!).

I'm a pretty avid East Front collector but I would pass on the prototype. The big advantage it has over the production model is that the fenders could be ripped off, but I wouldn't have the heart to do so. I would consider doing that to a unique piece a Crime Against the Miniature. So you would be depending on Figarti Russian Front completists, a really really small niche. Maybe in another 3 years it would be much better now that both Figarti & K&C are feeding the East Front frenzie

A prototype is one of a kind. That's something I always like to have (I have a couple in my collection) as I can always obtain the regular production model. As it is a prototype it should fetch more money in the secondary market.

I'm pretty sure with enough people knowing about the prototype up for auction it would fetch a hefty price. You only need 2 bidders to really drive up the price!

Jose that's a real nice set, Its been some time since I hit up some Figarti.
I might get this one ^&cool^&cool

Neil :salute::

Add this one to the collection!

this is a great release, camo goes nicely with the winter t34 and the detail on the tank is another step up for figarti. The weathering such as the mud on the tracks is very well done. The skier that comes with it is also finely detailed.Would like to see more of this style of winter russian figures :cool: ..

The winter Russian is a real nice figure. The Russian figures have been getting better and better with every new release. The new winter JS-II will also include a winter clad figure.
