Hello all. New to this forum and the hobby. I have been collecting 1:30 aircraft, mostly WWI Flying Circus. Just got bit by the 1:30 Armour bug

Picked up my first armour piece this week: Figarti Tiger Tank - G3813E Tiger I. Wow what a model! It has every feature I had hoped for: incredible detail, diecast, removable panels, opening hatches, movable tracks...

My question is: what is next? I hear WAR PARK have similar features, principally moving tracks and opening hatches. Have a Panzer on order..

Do all the old Figarti armour models have moving tracks and opening hatches?

Thanks for any information.

Here is some eye-candy of my first purchase. Cheers!

To answer your question, those 1:32 scale Tigers were the only armored vehicles Figarti made with that level of interior detail. The only vehicles made in the hobby today with that level of interior detail, opening and closing hatches, removeable side skirts, etc., are the John Jenkins Designs Jagdpanther and Stug.

The answer is no - not all Figarti tanks have interior detail and crew. I think they only made 2 like this, one winter one summer. All the rest do not.

I have lots of Figarti tanks and none have that interior detail and crew.

Cheers,

Stefan

I believe there were five versions, G3810E-G3814E.

Yes, there were 5 versions. This tank was Figarti’s first shock and awe release, providing full interior details from the scale modeling hobby never before seen in the Toy Soldier hobby. I was at the unveiling at the OTSN Chicago Show, and was really impressed. I bought the version you have and the Normandy version. The following year, Figarti, which had started producing in 1:32 scale, began offering both 1:32 and 1:30 scale items to be more compatible with K&C products.

I doubt we will see anything like the Figarti Tigers ever again.

The attention to detail and painstaking production would probably cost too much.

I think you are right. I like it enough I went back to my local hobby shop and picked up a second model they had on consignment. Now have a pair G3811E and G3813E

I have one of these but it’s unique: it doesn’t come with any figures. Special order.

Sounds great - can you post some pictures? Thanks!

I will try to later today. Rick made it without figures because I was always complaining about his figures so he shut me up about it ^&grin

Here are some photos of my 1:32 Scale Figarti Tigers (1 Winter, 1 Normandy) and my later Figarti 1:30 Eastern Front Winter Tiger:

Thanks for the tip on this - those are indeed impressive models. I will definitely be adding both. Cheers!
