That's why this plane had an ejection seat. When the French were testing one of their two examples the seat ejected right through the hanger roof, no one was hurt . .
The vertical tail and dorsal fin could also be jettisoned, the former for belly landings.
What Interesting is the British tested it after the war,if you need to jump out of the plane you had to blow the rear propeller off first or it would cut you in two {eek3}
