I’m curious has King and Country ever released a figure of A. Hitler while in the field with his commanders? I’ve seen other poses but wasn’t sure if there was one of him in the field in the early stages of the war. 1939-1941.

For what I know Hitler was never on the field in France or in Poland....And then he only was in his headquarters in Rastenburg(Poland), Vinnitza(Russia or Ukraine) and the one in the western Germany from the time of the debarkment in Normandy, very, very far from the fields of battle...

Hi Ranger,
As you correctly stated [and showed] Hitler did indeed appear ‘in the field’ several times during the early part of the war...I think Poppo may have erred again, as he did in the ‘wrong wounded arm’ situation, a couple of days back.

Andy thanks for your response. Have you released a figure in the field and if you haven’t could we possibly see one in the future? Thanks in advance.

Not an easy question to answer. Depends on what is meant by "in the field"

In combat?
Near combat ?
In a subdued area following combat (i.e. Paris, Poland)?

He was certainly in the field in 1945 while Berlin was being over run :rolleyes2: and there are photos of Hitler giving out medals to young boys at the very end of the war

I think the original one you did WS035? With grey coat and the base had rubble on it was "in the field"

What I mean by in the field is in the early stages of the war Hitler is seen in the field with his Generals and speaking with the front line soldiers. Poland, France Etc. Out on the battlefield. I see most of the figures that have been released are not in the combat zone. I’m curious to see if we’ll maybe see a release in the future.

On the subject of Hitler visiting the front, a Mercedes G4 touring car he used while visiting the front in the Polish Campaign has survived and is part of the collection of the Lyon Air Museum in Santa Anna, California. Here’s a couple photos I took of the car when I visited the museum in 2018:
