Hi.
I am a public high school teacher who wants to recreate the Spanish siege of British Fort Charlotte in 1780. The siege took place in Mobile.

I am having trouble locating small, affordable figures that would depict the Spanish troops.

Since cost is an issue I guess that I have to use 1/72 scale plastics, or am I wrong

Can anyone pinpoint a manufacturer? I have been through the Michco website and that of Hobby Bunker but with no luck.

Thanks,
MikeNick

MikeNick,

Check these images of Spanish 1780s troops. Most Rev-War figures could be converted to Spanish just by painting......

These Hobby Bunker figures are relatively inexpensive and could be converted.

AWI British Infantry (25 pcs - red)

AWI French Infantry (25 pcs - blue)

These figures look enough like Spanish troops to pass at 1/72 scale.

Italeri Set 6043 French Infantry
