Finally getting Dios going again--'The Grey Wave' (1 Viewer)

Greetings all, been looking forward to starting to work on some dios again & am finally getting everything set up. These are early stage of a theme I call 'the grey wave'...still got plenty of detail work to do (and refresh photo skills)-lol, but wanted to share... it's great to be back. :salute::

Very nice indeed....they are packed with action....yes to have the troops in the early grey shades is great....
The 88 and the halftracks are just amazing...

Yes, no doubt about it, the Grey really makes the scene realistic. The Halftracks are my favourites. Robin.

Nice diorama Mike and great collection of vehicles and artillery (I'm assuming the 88 is FOV?) from FL and FOV.

Hey thanks much guys, it's truly great to be back. Hey Tom, the 88 is indeed FOV, weathered to get that 'new arty shine' off of it and the 251's are FL. Buildarama made me a nice 3'x5' 'crossroads' mat for my work table, so I've got room to grow.
There's just something 'classic' about that grey armor to me....lol

Did the same with my FOV 88 but in a winter format, got to admit I bought it on ebay for about 20 bucks and it fits in just fine with my FL troops, again great to see you posting Mike!!!

To my eyes they look like FOV vehicles. I have both types in my collection and I'm guessing Mike painted and weathered his.

Great stuff, really makes a wonderful case for the need for Panzergrenadiere :wink2: How nice would they look, man we need them and BAD .....

Tom is right, FOV vehicles for Schwimmer and Kubel-seem to work well, especially once you 'dirty em up' a bit. I just wish FOV had done a Demag-or if FL would make one.
