I got one!:salute::

This is a superb model , my very first purchase from JJ and I'm very pleased indeed with it . These Camels appear to be gradually disappearing and I very much wanted to get one in this Centenary year before they all went. So far I have Toy Army Workshop, Britain's and now JJ in my WW1 collection, this leaves K&C and First Legion to join soon. If you have an interest in WW1 or aircraft in general you need one of these my friends:salute::

Thanks a lot Brad, wanted one of these for so long and very pleased I finally got one. Now for that Mk V tank.

Very tempting Rob, you certainly make it appealing. Robin.

Robin, all I can say is if you get one you won't be sorry. Am so glad I didn't let this model sell out without getting one:smile2:

Looks like you got a good one Rob. This anniversary will make a bad dent in our budgets {eek3}

Hi Rob,

Good selection with the Barker Camel. ^&cool And nice job with your pics of the model. The lighting really brings out the beauty in Jenkins' paint work. I'm not sure which of the Camels is my favorite, BTW. It's almost as if I've got a trio of beautiful red-headed girls in my display case. I find myself fancying one, only to get distracted by "the gal" on the next shelf!:wink2:

Rob, let me add my congratulations on the addition of the Barker Camel to your collection. As Moe says, it is tough to pick a favorite but I think the Barker Camel is the best looking of the Sopwith lot. For future purchases, the JJD figure of Barker is a good likeness and looks great next to the plane.:wink2: Also, take a look at the JJD SE-5. It is a beautiful model and, IMO, JJD's best aircraft. Great get on the Camel.^&cool -- Al

Wayne,

That's a heck of a collection you have there.

Cheers,

Brad

Me too!!! Great minds think alike! {sm3} I snapped a couple of quick pics of my first two JJ pick ups. I wanted to pick up the Red Baron before it flew off the shelves forever. I've been wanting that piece for a long time. For me its iconic and the most recognisable item from WWI. I also picked up the ammunition supply wagon. I really liked the Red top (sensing a theme here!) and it fit well with my modest British Napoleonics collection. Sorry for the poor pics. :redface2:

Nice. Can't go wrong with the Red Baron. ^&cool -- Al

Very nice addition! That is one I don't have. I just bought my 6th JJD plane and plan to sell a Tiger to buy the Mark V. I am with you - that is a beauty.

Thanks for all your comments guys , much appreciated. This will be just the first of my JJ WW1 purchases.. Wayne thats a superb collection mate, I want I want!!^&cool
