Today I've received my first AeroArt Figure as a birthday present from my wife.
It's the Shimazu Yoshihiro, Firing Bow figure and I must say WOW. Looks even better than on the pictures.

But one thing. The arrow from the hand to the bow is loose. Maybe a transport damage ? One time around the globe literally.
Is it normally glued or just laid on hand and bow ?

Hi Eric,
Congratulations on your first Aeroart figure! That's a really special figure to start with. It's one of my favorite Samurai. I really like the posture of the sculpt and all the fine detail. The arrow is held in place w/ glue at the left hand to bow junction. A very thin film of glue is used where the arrow rests on the thumb and index finger of the left hand. This surely came loose from transport vibration. The arrow can easily be put back in place w/ a sparingly applied film of super glue at the location described before. Do a dry run first so you can see exactly where the arrow shaft should rest. Then apply a tiny bit of super glue on top of the index figure and press the arrow very gently from the arrow head down into the hand. If you look at the hand w/ magnification you will see a discreet divot that the arrow neatly fits into- this is where you want the thin bit of glue to go. The important thing is that you don't use too much glue or you will see residual shiny spots from the glue being compressed out when you press the arrow down. This requires much less than a drop of glue....think of it as slight smear of glue applied w/ a toothpick point or a needle. That's all that is needed to secure the arrow, and your figure will be as good as new and ready for display.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need further assistance.
Joe

PS: Hold onto that wife!

Hi Joe,
thanks a lot for the glueing advise. Definetly I‘ll hold on to my wife.
She‘s happy too, since she has now a bday present source for the next few occasions.
Regards
Eric
