After seeing the 88 in cnq's posting and then the diorama from wwiibuff, where it is shown together with the halftrack, I decided to give it a try and bought both, the 88 and the halftrack.
I received them today and what fine pieces they are. I was really very pleasantly surprised about the look, all the detail and accessories.
The figures are relatively good too. I mean, for the price they are sure hard to beat. If there is a detail on them that one doesn't like, no need to worry much wether you want to give it a try with a paintbrush. The faces (eyes area) look somewhat odd but again, they are well worth their price.
Only had time to unpack the halftrack this afternoon. The packaging is a piece of work, I'm telling you. Never saw anything that secure. The vehicle is actually fixed with 5 screws to a hard plastic base. All figures, in addition to being strapped with tiny rubberbands in their positions, are set in blister card style plastic.
Got really excited about it today and tomorrow night I will have a good look at the 88 and see how well it will go together with the halftrack.
I am pretty sure that I will be looking for more FoV stuff soon
