I think it looks great , the tank it self looks like a step up from the
ltd winter tiger although as a set the winter set is a great stand alone
set. Its a must have regardless of issue number in my mind and when
K and C issues a Charles Upham figure all will be right in my crete and
north afrika world .

Its a must have Monster!.Its going to look wicked next to the Stug etc.I agree about the Winter Tiger,i love that set but this is another step up.And its going to have its own special box.

Its own special box that I'll likely have to chuck away so's I can get it into my luggage.

Thats a shame mate.The Winter Tiger box is so cool IMHO the best box so far,i do think it adds to the collecting experience to have an individual box with these SL editions.

Hmmmm.....I'll have to think about this one then. Where there's a will, there's a way....I suppose.
Good suggestion about a poll for favourite ranges BTW.
Its been absolutely freezin' today, and its another 2 weeks before the heating is switched on in this building. Gonna shut down soon and go'n'shiver under the duvet instead of here in my cave. Ought to have the new Bulge dio finished around thursday/friday.

Its a beautiful beast ain't it. I find myself getting sucked inexorably more and more into North Africa....aaaaiiiieeee....!!!!
But yeah, I can see the new Tiger and the AK Stug together in my minds eye as well.

I can't wait to place the Tiger next to the Stug,Grief and all the other AK vehicles,going to look superb.It was so good to get a size comparison on the film,now we know just how big we are talking!

It looks like such a leap in quality over prior tanks, especially the older AK tanks, that they will pale by comparison.

In the video, Andy said that it will come in it's own special box. Isn't that a given since all the Strictly Limited releases come in special boxes? Or did by "special" did he mean a super box like the Winter Tiger? I don't think so, but I wish that was the case. Have those of you who know Andy personally ever lobbied for all SL to have boxes like the Winter Tiger? For those who say the box doesn't matter, I disagree because for collectors with limited display space who rotate what they display, it's hard to find any particular piece in storage when the boxes all look the same.

Great idea.I love the Winter Tiger box.It just screams quality and 'One off' to me.And for those of you who may sell stuff i guess the box is also a big factor in how much you'd get for it.
