According to their site, under work bench they have pictured the new line, For anglo-Zulu war !!!

It seems as if FL is really taking on Britains: AWI and even ACW, now Zulu Wars. KC seems to get a break until FL goes totally WWII Western Front.

Maybe the theory is take out the nobles before you take on the King {eek3}

Nice looking firing line :)

I had planned to spend my pocket money on the NEW Conte sets.......last time I checked though no update on the website since Sept 2013 :(

I liked WB's Zulu stuff but, it would have been too hard starting so far behind and trying to catch up so, this would be good to start from the beginning.

This looks a nice range.

I think that is a good call..I stated 3 years after wbritains first azw release and I just caught up this year..and some of the rFer pieces were pricy

Need to see the Zulus before committing to this range.

Also the price point. As going by recent retail prices these figures could be around £55 - £60 each.

Darn it, another range that I like. Kinda gave up on the Conte line.which is a little bit of a reprieve, so I can spend more in other ranges. But now..... Ok stick a fork on me I am in...

A very impressive release by First Legion.....I Really like it....But I don't think my finances will allow me to start a new range.....I must say this one is tempting...{sm4}

It will be good for newcomers that didn't get in on the ground floor with the Britains range and also for those that collect FL. No temptation for me, too much invested in the other line. They do look good however.

I don't collect Zulu, but I almost certainly will buy at least one from each side. I buy a lot of single pieces from FL ranges. These look very nice, and I always liked the uniforms from that era.

I actually expect the figures to be compatible in size, sculpting and paint with WB. I think the ranks of WB could be supplemented by these.

As FL did Sean Bean (Sharpe) as part of their Napoleonic range, hopefully they will be featuring Michael Caine and Stanley Baker in this one!

They look great. Wonder if any 'mealy bag' etc vignettes are in the pipeline?

Pete

I am not sure if I will collect this range, as I have been buying WB from the start. I also collect Little Legion AZW and old Trophy sets. Lord knows, I do not need to be buying another range. Although I probably will pick up a few figures here and there and before I know it I will have them all. {sm4}

Hmmm, I may dabble also with a few, but I have more than the real events already.^&grin, Robin.
