I've pretty much resolved to buy FL. I already get a number of K&C WWII series and the Crusaders. The FL Crusaders are really nice but I suspect I'll start with the Glory of Rome for something different.

The Crusaders do look fantastic but Rome is definitely calling to me as a second series.

I was saving up to get a few of the Crusaders, but once Rome was announced, that takes precedence for me too.

On another thread there are some very nice Osprey images showing Roman cavalry and a Roman sitting having a drink, relaxing. I hope their might be some cavalry and "behind the battle" figures in this series.

Did you check with George? You might be able to pick them up at Valley Forge - if you are an early raiser and are at George's booth before me ...

I've put in my order for my first three Mamluks and am waiting patiently. Those guys have reserved spaces awaiting them on my Saracen city walls and one of my FL Templars needs an enemy to be fighting. Hopefully they'll be available to ship any day now.

So far I have six of the FL Crusaders. If the Mamluks are anything like the Crusaders, they should be fabulous.
