Hi guys,

I am getting a diorama made by David. He asked me to post the pictures of all the work that he has done on it so far. The buildings are close to being done and he is now working on the church and the ground work. Hopefully he will have it ready and displayed at the London show in a few weeks for all of our viewing pleasure. Can't wait to see the finished product. The pictures go from the beginning to current pictures. These pictures are also under his TM Terrain thread.

Fantastic buildings this will look stunning when completed

I am very pleased how the layout is coming along. Once all the ground work is done and a bit more weathering on the blocks of offices it should look very fought over.
I have added a couple of holes in the side of the buildings and a blown out window or two with the thought of the Russian AT gun poking its barrel out at some unsuspecting PZIII coming down the road from the church. I can't wait to see some pictures of it when Sammy has got his figures displayed on it- that is when these dios really come to life.

I think he created the buildings to go with First Legions Stalingrad line that were displayed at a big show maybe it was London . I was really impressed with that set up and I'm sure this one will be just as nice when finished again congratulations . Gebhard.... now off to look up Attic Dave

Very, very nice. These are the perfect buildings. I thought they were made by First Legion!:D:D

Sammy, Can I come over to play? ;) I can bring all my FL figures and vehicles and we can setup all sorts of cool scenes. :D

It looks great!

Wow Sammy. This looks awesome. Your stuff is going to look great displayed on such a grand scene. Just think of the size of the shipping crates this will all arrive at your house in.:)

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, I could only dream of having the type of talent David has, I did take a good look all around at the diorama builders out there doing WWII and for the look of the over all dio as well as minor details...wood coloring, brick work, painting, war torn look, etc.. I had to tip my hat to T.M. Terrain, David has this stuff down to a science and is such a nice person to deal with, we threw ideas back and forth on this dio, I wanted something that I help design and he worked with my ideas and gave some great insight as well, don't get me wrong there are some great builders out there but I put David at the top, matter of fact were already discussing doing a winter dio for 2011,(need some winter troops Matt:)) but can't wait to get this baby in my curio and light her up, I have a wonderful dilema in figuring out where to place my First Legion tanks/soldiers/guns...good problem to have:):):)...Sammy

Hi all,

Davis sent me some updated photos of the diorama with the church included but I'm heading to work so as soon as I get home I'll get the pics uploaded, the dio itself is a piece of art, blows me away to say the least, see you all this afternoon...Sammy
