I'm selling a cuirassier figurine.
This is a resin cast of the First Legion figurine, custom painted for me.
The well-known cuirassier release has long been sold out.
The figure and the horse are slightly modified.
This is an exclusive figurine, not just painted casting, there was no such figure in the release.

This is the cuirassier of the 8th regiment on 1815, which fought heroically at Quatra Bras and captured the English colour, and also participated in a large-scale cavalry attack at Waterloo.

Painting at the highest level, even for Russian figures.
Steel sword - a must have component that makes credibility.

The scene with the English guards is for reference only.

I will pack the figurine in a box with foam and filler. Paypal payment.
Details and questions in PM.

That's interesting-I didn't know that First Legion produced any of their figures in resin.

Prost!

What a beautifully painted figure, best of luck with the sale, whoever buys it will be a very happy collector to have a true on of a kind figure.

Brad,
this is a figurine based on First Legion castings, made for a private collector (me :)).
On the FL website (russian part of it), this type of business is listed as acceptable for its founders.
I am not a reseller and in this case this is a one-time action, it will not be repeated in the foreseeable period of time.
it's just that the collection has reached such a level that some of the positions will have to be reduced.
Thank you for your interest.

As for resin, actually resin provides better detail than white metal.
The original master models are usually made from resin.
Visually there is no difference, you can understand what the figure is made of only when you pick it up. They look great together, as you can see on my photo with a British 1st Guards.
But, as I said, the basic detailing of the resin is better, the features are clearer and sharper.
Also resin figurines are not so fragile. I've had a few pieces fall off the shelf. In the case of metal, this is fatal or extremely painful as parts just break due to weight.
Resin is lighter in weight and parts are easier to glue together.
