Don't think this has been covered previously. I was doing the shopping today and as ususal spending waaay too much time around DVD aisles and not enough around fruit and veg.

Saw a new war flick out on DVD 'Edge of War'. Didn't buy it, but looking at the cover, recognised the soldiers in the artwork.

Looks like 3 of the Stalingrad Germans used.

Nicely spotted Simon. I have the figure running and holding his helmet and that sure looks like him on the cover there. Does anyone know if this movie is any good?

It's a 6 part series that aired in early 2012 on The Military Channel. They are documentaries of an hour each and I think very well done, but are mostly on non-WWII modern era subjects. Invasion of Poland, MacArthur Gamble, Castro revolution, Iran vs Iraq War, Falkland Islands, Noriega. Gives excellent insight into what happened to Poland in 1939 and why France and England couldn't respond and how Poland may have held out against Germany if Russia hadn't invaided. By invaiding Poland, Stalin may have given Germany the support they needed to beat Poland leading to WWII and later the invasion of Russia.
