Ah OK, that makes sense. It does look like a really nice figure. That is one reason I am really excited to see their cavalry. Thanks for the info.

Yes I recently bought the French artillery set, the 8-pounder special addition, and five individual gunners. They are an impressive sight! They fit fine with both K&C and with the Miniwelt gunner series. Quality is superb especially the shako detail. As for the stands, I much prefer the square ones FirstLegion is using. The figures don't fall down and the figures blend perfectly with the Russian figures which also have square stands. I find that sometimes when I mass K&C infantry one figure falls down and knocks down a whole file, sort of like roundshot hitting a column, I guess. That doesn't happen with the square stands, and will be an advantage when massing the FirstLegion French line infantry in columns.

WOW!!! I can't believe this is the first post on the forum for First Legion and it's not even 3 years old!! almost though, I have been re-reading alot of the older stuff, what's the old saying..."you've come along way baby" is a understatement just take a look at all that has happened with First Legion in a short time, great work by Matt and his partners and workers, glad you guys are around, by the way what ever happened to Capitial Ron?never see him on First Legion...Sammy

Really interesting company; figures and guns look first rate. Wish there ancients were done in 54mm but maybe someday.
