What distributors carry first legion?

Where can I find whats been released in the past? Something like a checklist. Thanks!

I like the stalingrad set. do they have all their products listed?

I believe the website lists everything. They sell direct to the public in the USA. Their only dealer is George Guerriero of Minuteman Toy Soldiers (Warrior on the Forum), who sells only at shows.

On the left side of the main page, there is a product listing. It lists the first 200+ Napoleonic figures. Listing in red are out of stock. I believe most everything else in the other ranges is still availible.

I'm looking at it right now. I know these are 1/32 correct? Is there a major size difference between K&C and First legion? The stalingrad stuff looks great!

This size issue is a subject that comes up a lot, so watch out!:D Yes, there is a slight size difference in the two companies. Can they be displayed together? Sure, if that is what you want. Search back though this First Legion section, as there are a number of early threads where this comes up. Also, at First Legion's site, they do some side by side photos of thier work and K & C's.

What you will probably notice more is the paint/shading difference and the overall porportionality differences of the two. Again, if it isn't something that bothers you, then you have will have a collection with quality items from both companies.

The list was last updated May, 2010. Lots more retired pieces should be on it.

Here are figures from various manufacturers in front of an HB 1/30 Tiger. The top of the hull on the real Tiger is 180 cm to give you a reference point.

The HB model is 1 mm short of the 60 mm it should be.

If not sold out, aren't a few of the early tanks out of production?

Terry

Hello Terry,
VEH001 was out of stock for some time but it has recently opened up again for order . I would think that they are no longer producing the Stugs and what they have once sold out will be gone forever . That would be my guess ..Mr Matt could comment on this for sure as he would be in the know ;) Happy Collecting Gebhard

Just a few quick updates and clarifications. We've updated the product listing page on our website to include a complete text listing with prices for all of our figure ranges, not just Napoleon's Europe. This page also shows which figures have currently been retired. By the way, we definte retired as we're not producing anymore and don't have any in stock, so retired really translates to sold out. We've done away with the previous format and support for the word document with the images as it was just too much to maintain for us and this new, simpler but more complete format will be used for this page moving forward. We will update it with each release.

Please note that NAP0012 Bavarian Standard Bearer has been unretired for a moment as when we were doing our year end inventory, we found a few more figures that we've enabled for sale. So once they get sold, it will go back to the ranks of the retired!

Also, a few other updates to questions/comments on this thread:

1. No, there aren't any figures in the Stalingrad range that are retired/unavailable.

2. VEH001 is in stock and available. We are not producing anymore of these, so that means once current stocks sell out, they will be added to the ranks of the retired. So, as Phantom Warrior has pointed out, they're not yeat retired by are out of production.

3. Size difference - this has been covered ad nauseum, but suffice it to say, it's not typically size that matters when it comes to our figures and mixing them with other makers, it's style more than anything else. Some folks mix 'em, some don't. To each his own as they say.

Best,

Matt
