Here is a sneak peak at our first full mounted release, available for pre-order in about a month and shipping in mid-April. The famous Russian Akhrstsky Hussars. The release will contain six figures as shown and, in light of some of the comments made about price, we feel they will be WELL worth the money. :D We do hope you agree...

Russian Akhrstsky Hussars Paint Masters - Borodino 1812 - Shipping in April

Enjoy!

I don't collect Napoleonics but these look truly spectacular.

These are truly awesome!

However, due to budget and display space constraints, I only collect French and Brits. Are you going to release some French Hussars too (based on these very nice uniforms)?

Matt,

Super impressive!! You have suddenly made me want to collect Russian Hussar cavalry.

Stunning stuff, how much is now in order.

Congrats,
Paulo

Thanks to all of you for the kind words on the figures. We haven't set final pricing on them yet, but I imagine they'll be around $99.95-$109.95/figure.

Obserstoskar, as for French Hussars, it's possible. Something British will probably come first. Of course, we're releasing these Hussars in April as part of our Borodino range and we hope they do well as it would be a shame to have figures like this not sell well because of a bias towards British and French (which is so unfortunate as the Napoleonic Wars were about so much more than just the British...).

Paulo, I'm not sure I understand your question - "how much is now in order?" Could you please clarify and I'll do my best to answer for you.

Regards,

Matt

Hi,
I just meant it was time to know about the prices, which you have already clarified (probably my English was not that good on this one:D).

Cheers,
Paulo

These are really special. I don't collect NA, but.......

I'll try to figure out how I will.

It would indeed be a shame if these beautiful lads did not find homes but that is a function of people's interests. It is not a bias really, any more than anyone's preferences can be called a bias. I am sure there are Russian Napoleonic collectors that have no interest in the British, just as there are some of us that favor that part of the conflict; as well as some that favor the Imperial side and some that favor the Alliance side.;):D The only sad truth is that with the cost of this hobby today, it is rare to be able to maintain an appetite for all sides.:( Hopefully there will continue to be much for each interest.

Good point. I for one try to get some representation of all parts in a conflict like Napoleonic Wars but it is mostly mission impossible. Probably better to focus on some key battles (Borodino looks like a great idea by the way, there really was a lot more to these wars than Waterloo) and or reserve representation for single figures:D.

I for one, am more then ready to start collecting something other then British. As I understand it the new Russian Hussars are only the beginning of what will be many Russian releases scheduled for the upcoming summer.

Some fantastic looking figures but as you say expensive, no matter how good they are that may also be there downfall. I certainly hope not as these are truly great figures but how many of us can continue paying these high prices.
How much for a british square? or cavalry unit? your looking at a lot of money,i certainly will purchase these figures but will have to be in small numbers now and again.
For the main will have stick to the second best figures but be able to get a lot more for my money and imo a better investment, i know they hold their value, i suspect if what ive seen in the past week on ebay FL'S wont. Not many available yet but they are not making their retail price and seems little interest in them.
