There have been many questions and much speculation about what our next vehicle for our WWII range might be. Well, let's put an end that right now - it will be a Panzer III Ausf. J Late Version. Frank wanted one and because we like him, we whipped this up for him! :D (not really, but hopefully it will make him feel good!)

The images shown here are pre-production images and are unfortunately missing several detail parts (photo etch parts, stowage configuration, bipod mount under the AAMG, struts, tow cable, spare tracks, crew figure, etc. etc.). So please bear in mind before you make any comments that we're well aware of what it's missing and all of this has of course been rectified. However, I'm confident enough in the quality of the model at this point to comfortably show it and know that even in these dated images, it's the best toy soldier rendition of the Panzer III ever created. Sure, it's lightweight and that won't please some, sure it's more expensive than if it were polystone and no doubt some will take shrimp off the barbie and come out and say so, but we're pretty confident that it speaks for itself and that anyone who orders it will be ecstatic with their purchase. We hope to make this available late April with a pre-order in March sometime.

As usual, full bodied crew figure in the vehicle or the ground, opening and closing commanders hatch, fully rotating turret, antenna raises and lowers, gun that raises up and down, etc.... All that youve come to expect from our groundbreaking vehicles.

So without further adieu, here it is and we hope you like it.

Best,

Matt, I like it a lot. Great choice. Thank you.

And the weathering looks superb as well. ;)

Finished or not, that is a beautiful Mk.III. The "used" look, with all the little nicks, it just looks like real steel. Nice job. -- lancer

OUTSTANDING.....:eek::eek:

This battle is really starting to take on a life of it's own. It's a GREAT time to be a Eastern Front collector.

I'm no expert but that looks like pretty darn good Matthew. I'll have to whisper in Frank's ears some suggestons :D

WOW  Even in this early stage of production it looks Great to me :) Thanks for the pre production photo's . You must of had some dinner last night :D I'll have to consult my reference books and see if you guys have missed any rivets and get back to you :) All the best Gebhard

Double WOW:)....This will be a fantastic model...Matt will there be 2 figures with this AFV?

Beautiful job Matt. I don't collect WWII, but I may have to get this one. OH No!!

Wow, looks like the Germans are bulking up.:D Another beautiful AFV and fine looking little tank indeed. You Eastern Front collectors are certainly in for a treat.

Matt congratulations on another first rate vehicle. I know that all of us in the business feel the pressure to show new products as soon as possible with the perceived pressure of our small industry.

With that said, your efforts in coordinating new product development is producing WWII products that stand above most of the items currently rushed to market.
Please try continue to do the proper research and choose the best materials to replicate the detail for these offerings as it sets a bar for others to reach.

In the future I would be happy to wait until new products are production ready before you share any images with us.

All the Best!

Awesome, a magnificient recreation of a classic AFV. A piece I've wanted for my collection for a long, long time. For me however looking at FL pieces is much like window shopping at a Porsche dealership........I badly want one but that little thing called money gets in my way. :( Anybody need a kidney for a reasonable price???

Matt, you've made my day.:cool:

Looks like 24.Panzer-Division. I can hardly wait to see the finished model.

Matt, First Legion Products just continue to surpass all exspectations.... this Stalingrad Series is Incredible......The Panzer III....WOW....Can't wait for this to be released.........Thanks for continuing a great line of Eastern Front WWII.....Best regards Frank
