What are the chances we will see an Eastern Front Tiger Tank from First Legion?.......Would be a great addition to the WWII line especially if a Russian T34 will be released soon......I'm sure many of us would like to see these two released......;)

i agree, a tiger and a t34 is most welcome.
imagine that, a tiger, with full bodied crew.:p

but i dont think it will be soon.

matt had said beforehand, the stalingrad range will be done comprehensively and in stages, so at this stage i dont think those two are next in line.

i can only half guess that the next vehicle could be the panzer III, based on the fact that it had the same chassis as the stug III.

but if matt decides to jump the queue and produce the t34/tiger next, i wont complain 1 bit.:D

I suspect we will have to wait for the next theatre, Italy perhaps, before we see a First Legion Tiger.

That would be a sight to behold I'm sure.

No Tigers in Stalingrad, maybe in Kursk summer of 1943.

chill guys.
the eastern front had just begun.
there's plenty of time for all the other panzer babies.:p

Not in Stalingrad, but in Leningrad:

"The first Tiger to see action was against the Red Army on August 29 1942, southeast of Leningrad with 1st company of sPzAbt 502. Four Tigers were deployed in a single file on marshy ground, a terrain completely unsuitable for a tank their weight. Three of the Tigers broke down due to mechanical failures and all four of them had to be recovered and repaired.

They were committed to battle again on September 22 1942 around the same marshy area. This time, either all four Tigers were knocked out by Russian antitank guns or got stuck in the mud. Three were later recovered and the forth was destroyed by its own crew to prevent it from being captured.

It could be done within the scope of Stalingrad. Not the city battle, but the campaign yes. The 503rd was in theatre in action before the city fell...it was part of the effort trying to stabilize the line. And one company of the Leningrad Tiger battalion was attached to the 503rd at this time

Another cool vehicle would be one of the Emils. Two were made & were in Paulus's 6th Army. There's a photo of one in the snow that just got captured in Jan/Feb43 with a whole slew of kill rings on it's 128...yes, I said 128 mm gun.

12.8 cm Pz.Sfl.V with Pz.Jg.Abt.521

Interesting but with only two made and one serving on the eastern front a tad limiting for displays.
