I commissioned these sets from John O'Brien. He sent me these two pix today before sending them my way. I am thrilled with how they turned out and hope to add more of John's work to my collection.
The sets are two members of the FANY (First Aid Nursing Yeomanry) and a Tommy's Homecoming.
Hope you enjoy seeing these.

Yeah now he is home from his around the world trip we can all get some work done.....................^&grin

Very striking sets Randy, can see why you are pleased with them. All ready planning scenes for them no doubt.^&cool, Robin.

I just received the two sets from John which "knocked my socks off" as they say. Photographs do not do them justice. I was also totally impressed with John's very careful packaging and was especially wowed by the very professional boxing of the figures themselves as shown below. I am truly looking forward to creating scenes for these new additions to my collection.
Thank you John for making my day!
Randy

Hi Randy,

glad that the parcel arrived safely and that my painting of these figures will be enhanced in one of your fine dioramas very soon.

Yes, I always strive to make sure that the figures are not damaged in transit after all the work I've put into them, but sometimes the Postal Service must play 'slam dunk' with some :( going on the state of outside of the box.

I hate receiving damaged goods, hence the extra packing. Also I'm not sure if collectors wish to repack them, so using these recycled boxes (old computer parts) I feel that they can have a 2nd life and hot end up a more rubbish.

Kind regards,

John
