Supply wagons and draft of new recruits winding their way through the dense forest are ambushed by a hostile Indian war band sent by their French allies to intercept such traffic on the approach to a Fort in the wilderness.

As long as the figures aren't too much of a difference in scale it really gives more options when setting up a scene.
I really like the TG Redcoats, though it's getting difficult to add to them now as they've sold out most poses from dealers, ebay has them occasionally.

Yes they are. It would be good if JJD did another run of this and the carts from their 18th century collection. An open wagon would be useful too.

Not at all Robin, the more the merrier and the more interesting it makes a thread and also I always enjoy seeing your displays and this one is a corker !^&grin
I just took the first line of Teddy bear's picnic for the scene title myself as it seemed quite appropriate !

Steve, if I'm not mistaken, there are quite a number of bears right there in Guildford ..... of the Steiff, Merrythought and Hermann variety at The Bear Garden teddybear shop. :wink2::smile2:

Hi Buster.

Teddy Bear shop, yes still there, but the days when Guildford had shops selling WB etc like Antics and Modelzone have alas have all gone, I remember when as a kid in the 60's if there was a trip to town then a stop at Guildford Dolls Hospital shop was a must, with their huge range of Toy Soldiers, Models to spend my pocket money on !
