Seriously though, they are lovely figures, and in a wider sense it is hugely difficult to limit yourself when there's so much attraction out there. At the moment, I'm trying to limit my WWII collecting to the Arnhem range, and (if they do hopefully come out later this year) any potential new Wehrmacht figures. But, with all this alarming talk recently about late-war, Normandy/Bulge FJ, I can predict my discipline being stretched extremely thin:). Ah well...at least the road to penury will be paved with new figures;).

:D Thats right Molloy,i want you all to tell me i'm being a good boy and i deserve the FJ's!.You know who i blame for my indecision don't you?.Its that Tony Neville chap!:D.I walk into that Hotel next Saturday armed with a list, and spread out before me are all these superb dio's he's made and suddenly i want stuff i never wanted before...i'm doomed!;)

Every time I make such a plan, like - okay only SOHK/IC, EA/AK, Crimea, (and can't remember right now what else I was going to limit myself to this year), I end up reassessing the plan on average every second day cos there's so many goodies out there.
Maybe I ought to just forget the plans and just do what I've been doing up until now anyway - go and buy those figures that appeal to me, no matter what the era or manufacturer - and enjoy.

Now don't go siccin' the Village Court on me, but I have to confess to the ultimate blasphemy - I haven't bought much WWII for some time. I'm breaking into Ancient Greeks & Persians, Zulu War and FIW. Can hardly wait to get my hands on my recent orders. Shall certainly be returning to the Western Desert though, when K&C release the new Crusader and Grant.....:):)

You can use those FJ's in a Dunkirk type display. Wasn't it FJ's who captured all those bridges in Belgium and France early on in the war.

Yes, that was (to my knowledge) the first time the world had seen the audacious use of a paratrooper regiment.
 
And didn't they land right on top of a French fort in this period,the name escapes me for the moement?.

The Belgian defenders had thought about everything at Eben Emael, except Fallshirmjager.

The uniforms of the current KC Fallshirmjager series are ok to be used for a Belgian attack diorama

I've said it before Rob. Get the FJ dispatch rider and the drop cannister guy. You can't go wrong. :) Get the four man set too if you have any spare cash!

And I'd go for the 2 prone sets (MG + Mortar) and then maybe the captured set.

Ah heck, get the lot and be done with it. :)
 
Trouble is Your both right guys,i have just five days to make up my mind!;).I really like the FJ's anti tank gun too,but then theres tanks and Arnhem and AK and EA and D Day.....its going to be another choose on the day scenario i know it!.

Ok lets make it easier,which Tank/vehicle should i get AK Stug,Chaffee or MK4?.

Rob,

I don't have any of the 3, but I do have the BOB Chaffee and it is one of my favorites. I would imagine the Olive one is excellent also! :)

Hey Y,

The Chaffee does certainly look cool,either of those would suit my wanted list just fine.My wife thinks i should get the Olive version first,but all bets are off when i get to the show!.A reason why i'd like the Bulge version that you have is that it would look great next to my M10 Tank destroyer.
