Assuming the above post wasn't made in jest, marketing costs won't affect the price of the product. In fact, marketing costs are usually factored into the price of a product, so the costs of travel is not the prime factor that will dictate price. Price is dictated by the various factors often discussed on this Forum.
On the other hand, there are many people who have probably never heard of FL -- not everyone reads Forums or has computers -- and spreading the word can lead to a larger customer base, thereby potentially resulting in a reduction of price (albeit unlikely).
